Britta Billsten

Biography

Brita Billsten was a Swedish actress who debuted as a ballet dancer at Hälsingborgs stadsteater in 1944 and later studied at Dramatens elevskola. Her notable roles include playing a prostitute in the 1948 film "Port of Call" and a gatflicka in Ingmar Bergman's "Hamnstad". She also appeared in several other films, including Kris (1946), which marked her transition from ballet to acting.
