Faysal Ahmed

Biography

Faysal Ahmed, born on July 11, 1993, is a Somali actor based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He appeared in the 2013 film Captain Phillips, playing Najee, a ship hijacker, and was one of four actors selected from over 700 participants in a 2011 casting call for a role that showcased his unique talent. Ahmed has since continued to build his career with notable roles in films such as Watu Wote: All of Us (2017) and A Stray (2016).
