Samapon Piyapongsiri, known as "ไก่ สมพล," was born on June 3, 1969, in Bangkok to a Thai-Chinese family. He graduated from Jutathedaphibes School and Chulachomklao University's Mass Communication department, where he studied German. A former music video model and DJ for GMMTV, Piyapongsiri has hosted various game shows, including "Game Hot Song Hot" and "Ko Zon Game," and released two music albums: "เหล่าเจ๊กหงี" and "แมงยุ่ง."
