  • Biography: Alaa Safi is a French actor, director, and producer. He was the world champion in Tae Kwon Do at 18, then began his TV/Film career as an action actor and landed his first major role when he partnered with Jackie Chan in the movie Chinese Zodiac (2012). Since then, Alaa Safi has worked with multiple major studios such as Marvel's Doctor Strange (2016), The Mauritanian (2021), and most recently, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023). In addition to Alaa's film roles, he is also a series regular on the groundbreaking TV series The Chosen (2017). Alaa Safi began directing in 2020 with the short film Chrysalis (Short 2020), followed by Coming Home (2023), both of which have earned awards in American film festivals.
