Biography

Per Bronken was a Norwegian theatre director, stage instructor, actor, and author born on March 13, 1935, in Tromsø. He made his literary debut with the poetry collection Kom drikk også mitt blod in 1955 and went on to direct notable productions like Benoni and King Lear, as well as TV series Vestavind and Offshore. Bronken was awarded the Gyldendal's Endowment in 1961 for his work in developing Norwegian television drama.
