Joey Tempest, born Rolf Magnus Joakim Larsson on August 19, 1963, in Stockholm, Sweden, is a Swedish musician and lead vocalist of the rock band Europe. He wrote many of the band's hit songs, including "The Final Countdown" and "Rock the Night". A multi-talented individual, Joey also played football, ice hockey, and go-cart racing, showcasing his diverse interests before finding success as the frontman of one of the most iconic rock bands of the 80s.
