Ian Haugland is a Norwegian-Swedish drummer born on August 13, 1964, who joined Europe in the summer of 1984, replacing Tony Reno. Prior to Europe, he played with notable bands Trilogy and Rising Force alongside Yngwie J. Malmsteen. After Europe's hiatus, Haugland recorded and toured with various bands, including Brazen Abbot and Glenn Hughes, while also working as a radio host in Sweden.
