Harry Gulkin was a Canadian film and theatre producer who transitioned his career from marketing to filmmaking in the early 1970s. He achieved notable success with the drama "Lies My Father Told Me," which earned him recognition including a Golden Globe win and an Academy Award nomination. In addition, he also worked on the acclaimed short story collection "Stories We Tell."
