Gerhard Wittmann, born in Aindling in 1964, began his career as a salesman before training as an actor at the Münchner Zinner Studio from 1987 to 1990. He made his stage debut in 1991 at the Landestheater Linz and went on to perform at various theaters in Bavaria, including the Südostbayerisches Städtetheater in Landshut. Wittmann's notable roles include Mercutio in Romeo und Julia and Mortimer in Friedrich Schillers Drama Maria Stuart.
