Jake Burton Carpenter was a visionary American snowboarder and entrepreneur who co-founded Burton Snowboards, a pioneering brand in the action sports industry. He's also credited with inventing the modern snowboard. A pioneer in his field, Burton appeared in several documentaries, including "The Crash Reel" and "Unbroken: The Snowboard Life of Mark McMorris". His legacy continues to inspire new generations of snowboarders.
