Biography

Petr Pospíchal is a Czech publicist and activist born in Brno on April 16, 1960. He has been involved with the Committee for the Defense of the Wrongly Persecuted (VONS) and signed the Charter 77 document, advocating for human rights in Central Europe during the communist era. In the 1990s, he served as Czech ambassador to Bulgaria, a position he held until at least 2003.
