Baku Numata was a Japanese actor and broadcaster known for his distinctive voice and eclectic filmography. He began acting at a young age, joining the theater group Saikano in his early 20s before transitioning to television drama series. Notable roles include his portrayal of village headman in "Mushi-Shi: The Movie" and various historical characters in dramas such as "翔ぶが如く" and "武蔵 MUSASHI".
