Reino Palmroth

Biography

Reino Wilhelm Palmroth was a Finnish singer, songwriter, radio host, and author. He is best known for his hit songs like "Kultaa ja kunniaa" and his work in the propaganda unit during World War II. Palmroth also composed patriotic songs, including the Akateeminen Karjala-Seuran marssi and the Talonpoikaismarssi, which were often performed by the Isänmaalliselle Kansanliikkeelle. He is considered a landmark figure in Finnish popular music.
