Matthew Rankin is a Canadian experimental filmmaker and actor, known for his critically acclaimed feature films "The Twentieth Century" (2019), which won three Canadian Screen Awards, and "Mynarski Death Plummet" (2014) and "The Tesla World Light" (2017). His most recent film, "Universal Language", premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and received a nomination for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards.
