Joanne Jonas

Biography

Joanne Jonas, born on May 31, 1951 in Bronx, New York City, was an original cast member of the off-Broadway production of "Godspell" in 1971. She created a character singing "O Bless The Lord" but later took on the role originally played by Sonia Manzano in the film. Jonas also served as assistant choreographer in the film. She has since moved to Northern California and is involved in healthcare-related pursuits.
