Biography

D'Arcy Corrigan was an Irish-American actor who began his career as a private secretary and stock company leading man before landing notable roles in films such as "Murders in the Rue Morgue" (1932), "The Informer" (1935), and the iconic "A Christmas Carol" (1938). His distinctive appearance, with a wrinkled and gaunt face, added to his memorable on-screen presence. He mostly retired from acting in 1940, except for one final small role, before passing away on Christmas Day in 1945.
