Bobby Rydell was a 1960s pop teen idol whose most notable film role was in Bye Bye Birdie opposite Ann-Margret in 1963. He continued to perform and tour in the following decades, even joining a trio with fellow former teen idols Frankie Avalon and Fabian Forte as The Golden Boys. Rydell's music catalog includes hits like "Wildwood Days", "Wild One", and his cover of Domenico Modugno's "Volare". He passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 79 due to pneumonia.
