Biography

Susie Cave, born Susie Bick on September 16, 1966, spent her childhood in Malawi and Nigeria before a family move that led to her running away from boarding school at 14. Discovered by photographer Steven Meisel at 14, she modelled for top brands including Yohji Yamamoto and Versace, before abandoning the career to focus on her relationship with musician Nick Cave. In 2014, Cave co-founded fashion label The Vampire's Wife with Alex Adamson.
