Brendan Cowell

Biography

Brendan Cowell is an Australian actor and writer born in Sydney, who grew up in Cronulla. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Media from Charles Sturt University and won the Patrick White Playwrights' Award for his third play. His play Ruben Guthrie received critical acclaim, starring Gyton Grantley and directed by David Berthold, before adapting his 2021 novel Plum into the 2024 television series.
