Ona Planas Oliver is a Spanish actress, director, and publicidad specialist, born on December 23, 1962, in Arenys de Munt, Barcelona. She has worked with notable directors such as Ridley Scott and George Lucas, and has written and directed her own films since the early 1990s. Planas is also the founder and co-founder of Cine Urgente and VivalaFilms, two initiatives that support independent cinema.
