John Warburton

Biography

John Warburton was a British actor who began his career on stage in New York after stowing away on a freighter to the United States. He transitioned to film with RKO's Secrets of the French Police (1932) and later appeared in notable roles such as Captain Clive in "City Beneath the Sea" (1953) and Bank manager in "Assault on a Queen" (1966). Warburton's career spanned over three decades, with appearances on television including 35 episodes of Fireside Theater.
