Biography

Ursula Thiess was a German film actress who had a brief Hollywood career in the 1950s. Born in 1924 to a farming family, she was drafted into service at 17 for refusing to join the League of German Girls. She transitioned to acting on stage, where she met her first husband, German film producer Georg Otto Thiess, and later co-starred in notable films with Robert Stack, Rock Hudson, and Robert Mitchum.
