Biography

Jacques Josselin was a French singer and actor born in Marseille on November 16, 1894, who rose to fame alongside Édith Piaf and Charles Trenet during World War II. He collaborated with Piaf on a 1943 tour of German camps, where they performed for prisoners. Josselin also appeared in over 20 films, starting in 1947, and sang for several opera productions at the RTF. He passed away on December 13, 1977, at the age of 83.
