Gerda Blisse

Biography

Gerda Blisse was a German actress born on August 29, 1923. She began her career in the late 1930s and after World War II, she joined the Berlin Märchenbühne Hilde Berg and later worked in East Germany before moving to West Berlin and touring with theater companies in the 1950s and 1960s. Her notable film roles include "Escape to Berlin" (1961), "Die Blechtrommel" (1979), and a small part in the classic thriller "Das kalte Herz" (1953).
