Biography

Gülistan Güzey was a Turkish theatre and cinema artist known for her early success in "Katip" (1968) and as Fazıla in "Kezban" (1968). She began her career at 6 years old after losing her father, eventually joining the city's theatre scene after finding an ad for women artists. Güzey made her film debut with "Dertli Pınar" in 1943 and achieved success with roles including Hürriyet Apartmanı, which earned her 300 lira for a leading role.
