Biography

Magnus von Horn is a Swedish-Polish film director and screenwriter born on December 21, 1983, in Gothenburg. He graduated from the Łódź Film School in 2013 and was inspired to explore violent themes after being brutally robbed in Poland shortly after arrival. His debut feature "The Here After" premiered at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival's Directors' Fortnight, followed by critically acclaimed films "Sweat" and "The Girl with the Needle".
