Lizzi Waldmüller was an Austrian singer and actress who burst onto the scene in 1939 with her role as Rachel in Willi Forst's Bel Ami. A theatre debut in Innsbruck in the 1920s marked the beginning of her successful career, followed by notable roles alongside stars Heinz Rühmann and Hans Albers in Graz and Vienna. Her rendition of Paul Lincke's 'Ich bin die Frau' showcased her talent, cementing her fame in Austria and Germany before her untimely death in 1945.
