Gope T. Samtani is an Indonesian businessman and film producer of Indian descent, born on October 1, 1943. He founded Rapi Films in 1968 with a capital of approximately Rp 3 million, initially as an export-import company. The production company has released 45 titles by early 1985, including the successful films Air Mata Kekasih and Nyi Blorong, which earned him the Parfi Award for Exemplary Producer.
