Uschi Obermaier

Biography

Uschi Obermaier was a model and actress associated with the 1968 left-wing movement in Germany, considered an iconic sex symbol of that era. She was discovered by magazine Twen and became internationally famous after a successful photo-shoot with Guido Mangold in Cameroon. A member of the experimental commune Amon Düül around 1968-69, she later lived in Kommune 1 with her boyfriend Rainer Langhans, becoming a symbol of the sexual revolution.
