Biography

PJ Torokvei was a Canadian screenwriter, actor, and television producer who rose to prominence as a writer and producer on the sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati, earning two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series. She also made significant contributions to film, co-writing movies such as Real Genius, Back to School, and Guarding Tess. A trans woman and alum of Second City/SCTV, Torokvei left a lasting legacy in the entertainment industry.
