David Burns

Biography

David Burns was a prolific American actor and singer born in Manhattan on June 22, 1902. He made his Broadway debut in 1923 in "Polly Preferred" and went on to appear in numerous comedies and musicals over nearly five decades. Notable highlights include his roles in the 1955 film "It's Always Fair Weather," 1960's "Let's Make Love," and 1971's "Who Is Harry Kellerman and Why Is He Saying Those Terrible Things About Me?"
