Biography

Rudolph Anders was a German-born character actor who emigrated to the US in the 1930s after rising anti-Semitism. In American films, he was known for his roles as Dr. Louis DuPont in "The Snow Creature" (1954) and Dr. Wyatt in "Phantom from Space" (1953). His naturalized American citizenship allowed him to work in a variety of film genres during the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. He died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, in 1987.
