Zahira Ben Ammar is a Tunisian writer, director, and actress known for reviving the theater movement in Tunisia since its inception in the 1980s. She won the Best Actress Award at the Carthage Theater Days Festival and received the Prize for Literature and Arts from the President of Tunisia. Her notable roles include Emna Lahmar in "Naouret El Hawa" and the matron in "Halfaouine: Boy of the Terraces".
