She gained widespread recognition after starring in the 1968 film Colonel Wolodyjowski, playing Basia Wołodyjowska. Her notable roles also include Mazepa (1976) and Ryś (2007), as well as appearances in popular TV series such as Na dobre i na złe and Magda M. She is married to actor Gustaw Holoubek and mother of cinematographer Jan Holoubek.
