Anna Francolini

Biography

Anna Francolini is a British actress born on October 30, 1973, in Chertsey, Surrey. She studied theatre at the University of Warwick and trained with the National Youth Theatre, before gaining recognition for her roles in Stephen Sondheim's Company (1995) and Merrily We Roll Along (2000), as well as her portrayal of Jean Brodie in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Francolini has also appeared in various West End productions, including Caroline, or Change at the National Theatre and Strictly Ballroom at the Piccadilly Theatre.
