Margarita Breitkreiz

Biography

Margarita Breitkreiz is a German actress of Russian descent, born in Omsk, Russia in 1980. She completed her theatre studies at the Ernst Busch Academy for Dramatic Arts in Berlin and has been a regular member of the Volksbühne Berlin since 2017, rejoining the ensemble in 2021. Breitkreiz collaborated with director Frank Castorf since 2002, most notably starring alongside him in the 2023 film Klassenkampf, which she also co-wrote with Castorf.
