Nick Wilder is a German film and television actor born on December 3, 1952, on Fehmarn Island. He grew up on a farm with his parents, who ran a guesthouse, and as a teenager formed a rock band on the island. After discovering that his father was a member of the SS during World War II, Wilder has since written about their complicated relationship in his 2025 novel "Vaterliebe".
