Lewis Fiander

Biography

Lewis Ernest Fiander was an Australian film, stage, and television actor born on January 12, 1938, in Melbourne. He began his career as a schoolboy with the Australian National Theatre Movement and later became a successful radio actor in Sydney, appearing in the first Australian television play, The Sub-Editor's Room for ABC TV. Fiander had notable roles in films such as Dr. Jekyll & Sister Hyde (1971) and Not Now, Comrade (1976).
