Biography

Freddie Mills was a British boxer and actor who rose to fame in post-war England, becoming one of Britain's biggest boxing idols and a popular media personality. After his retirement from the ring, he transitioned into entertainment, working in radio, television, and stage productions, including co-presenting the BBC TV music show Six-Five Special. He also opened a Chinese restaurant in Soho and managed his own London nightclub before his mysterious death in 1965.
