Anjala Zaveri

Biography

Anjala Zaveri is a British Indian actress born on April 20, 1972, in Portsmouth, Hampshire, to a Gujarati family. She was discovered by Vinod Khanna through a nationwide talent search and made her film debut with Himalay Putra (1997). Her breakthrough came with the Telugu blockbuster Preminchukundam Raa (1997), followed by Choodalani Vundi (1998) opposite Chiranjeevi. She also starred in the commercially successful Hindi romantic comedy Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998).
