Leueen MacGrath

Biography

Leueen MacGrath was a British actress and playwright who began her career in film with small roles, including Whom the Gods Love (1936) and Pygmalion. She made her Broadway debut in Edward, My Son (1948), reprising the role in the 1950 film adaptation. In her personal life, she married playwright George S. Kaufman in 1949 and they collaborated on several plays together, including The Small Hours (1952).
