Liam Carney

Biography

Liam Carney is an Irish actor born in Dublin in 1960. He rose to fame with roles in films Braveheart and Gangs of New York, as well as the TV series Outlander and Red Rock. A two-time father, he took a career detour from civil service to pursue acting after finding his passion with the Laughing Gravy Theatre Company. His notable recent work includes "Barber" (2023) and "Fair City" (2022-2023).
