Alec Newman

Biography

Alec Newman is a Scottish actor born on November 27, 1974, in Glasgow. Before joining the National Youth Theatre at 17, he considered becoming a professional footballer and trained at LAMDA. He rose to fame with his role as Paul Atreides in the Sci Fi Channel's Dune miniseries and has since appeared in notable science fiction works like Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Still Wakes the Deep, for which he won a British Academy Games Award.
