Mari Lill is a renowned Estonian actress whose career began onstage in the late 1960s. Born to parents who experienced turmoil during World War II and Soviet occupation, she was raised by her grandmother on Saaremaa island before studying acting at the Tallinn State Conservatory. Her early graduate production as Helen Keller in "The Miracle Worker" marked a pivotal moment in her career, which has since included notable roles in films like "Kratt" and television series such as "Varastatud kohtumine".
