Antônio Nóbrega

Biography

Antônio Nóbrega was born on May 2, 1952, in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, to a doctor father. He began studying music at age 12 and pursued a career as a musician with various orchestras before joining Quinteto Armorial, a group that travelled abroad and recorded four albums. In the 1990s, his solo work brought him national recognition after three shows: "Figural," "Brincante," and "Segundas histórias."
