He began his career in the 1920s, initially with silent films and later in theatre and radio, where he became a frequent cast member in popular series like Paul Temple and It's That Man Again. Throughout his career, spanning over 60 years, Morton made over 3,000 broadcasts, cementing his reputation as a prolific performer.
