Hanshiro Iwai was a renowned actor, dancer, and singer in Japan. Born into a theatrical family, he made his stage debut in 1935 and went on to become a prominent figure in the world of Kabuki and Noh theater. Iwai's career spanned decades, with notable roles in films and television dramas, including "Tora no o o fumu otoko-tachi" and "壇浦兜軍記". He received the National Theater Award twice and was known for his versatility and talent.
