Biography

Hisako Hara was a Japanese actress born in 1909 in静岡県静岡市 to a family of four siblings. She became an actress after passing a test for the stage company front进座, despite feeling unworthy due to her lack of skills. Her notable roles include "牛を喰う" and啄木の妻 in the film "石川啄木," and she went on to marry actor 石島房太郎 in 1938.
