Marilù Parolini
Biography
Marilù Parolini (1931–2012) was a pioneering Italian photographer and screenwriter who captured the essence of the French New Wave through her work as a set photographer for influential directors like Jean-Luc Godard, François Truffaut, and Jacques Rivette. She also collaborated with Pier Paolo Pasolini and Bernardo Bertolucci on screenwriting projects, cementing her legacy in Italian cinema. Her life was documented in the 2009 film "L'amica delle rondini".
