Jean-Pierre Sergent

Biography

Jean-Pierre Sergent was a French journalist and filmmaker who emerged from his involvement in the Algerian War as an anticolonialist. He gained recognition with his participation in the documentary "Chronicle of a Summer" (1961) alongside Marceline Loridan, later revealing their romantic relationship. As a filmmaker, he collaborated on the long-form film "Le Peuple et ses fusils" (1970).
